The news was in the air, but in a press conference just now Bob Myers officially announced it: will leave the Golden State Warriors. Myers is considered the architect of the Dynasty, the one who had been pulling the franchise’s strings since 2011 and who took Kevin Durant in 2016.
“It is simply time to leave” said Myers, who in his 12 years at the Warriors also had to deal with several crises such as Draymond Green’s difficult relationship first with Durant and this year also with Jordan Poole. Golden State won 4 titles with him, allowing him to be named Executive of the Year 2 times.
