DUSU Election Results 2017: Here you can check Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) Election Results 2017 Live Counting of Votes which has started today from 8:30 AM and Results mostly Announced today by afternoon. RSS-backed Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) wants to maintain its stranglehold on the students’ union of the prestigious university

According to the report, 42.8%  college students cast their votes “Most of the girls came early in the morning to cast their votes. The polling booths opened at 8 am and long lines were witnessed there, last year where as only 36.2% of students cast their ballot a turnout that was the lowest since 2011

The main contestants for the DUSU presidential post are ABVP’s Rajat Choudhary, NSUI’s Rocky Tusheed, AISA’s Parul Chauha, independent candidate Raja Choudury and independent Alka. The results are expected around 12 noon on Wednesday.

Voting for day colleges commenced at 8:30 am and went on till 1 pm and Voting for evening colleges began at 3 pm and went on till 7:30 pm. The percentage of voting in 32 institutions where votes had been counted was 44% The results for all four posts will be declared soon Today. The High Court had earlier asked the University to withhold the declaration of Presidential Poll results and now Delhi High Court has given a go-ahead to the Delhi University to declare the results for the post of President in the DUSU elections

11:55 Am:- After six rounds of counting, the ABVP is maintaining a strong lead on all four seats. The RSS-backed student’s unit has strengthened its leads in the President and Secretary seats. Round seven of counting is underway
