Baaghi 2, a sequel of Baaghi Which released in 2016 and Received Nice Response From Audience For Its direction, course the chemistry between Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani was Appreciated. Now Baaghi 2 A battle-hardened army officer goes in search of his ex-lovers child who is mysteriously kidnapped. Neha reaches out to the only person who can help her with her plight, Ronnie. He goes deep into the underbelly of Goa, facing off against drug lords, menacing Russian henchmen, and bloodthirsty animals. Daring stunts, chase sequences, air strikes, bomb blasts and other large-scale action sequences will be done with a bonafide, larger than life approach, truly making it a spectacle.
The movie has an element of suspense which is only revealed towards the end of the film. However, that’s the weak spot, as the suspense is easily guessed by many in the audience!
Cast and Crew:
Baaghi 2 features Tiger Shroff as Ronny Singh, Disha Patani as Ritika Singh, Armaan Kohli as Victor Bhai, Manoj Bajpayee as John Carvalo, Randeep Hooda as LSD, Prateik Babbar as Sid Carvalo, Vijay Raaz as Ramiz Dada, Aryan Prajapati as Dinesh Singh (Subbu), Kamlesh Sawant as Inspector Manoj Gupta and Manu Rishi as Inspector Amrish Karla.
The screenplay of Baaghi 2 is exceptionally good which will hold the interest of the public till the end.
Music is also good but not blockbuster material. The remake of the hit Ek Do Teen song which starred Madhuri Dixit, has been shot wonderfully. Though the remade version with Jacqueline Fernandes does not look appealing on YouTube but the entire song in the movie is quite eye-catching. And, Jacqueline has exhibited amazing dance skills in the song.
The action which is the highlight of the film gives an adrenaline rush. But, the action sequences towards the end of the film in the last 30 minutes are a little too much and too lengthy.
Tiger’s acting reveals the hard-work he has put in the film to prepare for his role. Both Disha and Tiger have portrayed their roles with ease and moreover, their on-screen chemistry is like an icing on the cake!
The minus point for Tiger would be his dialogue delivery in some scenes. Like in Sunny Deol’s Ghayal, the energy and enigma that Sunny delivered on screen in the scene where he is in jail and abuses policemen, Tiger seems to trail quite behind in terms of vigour.
Baaghi 2 is the best movie to date that Ahmed Khan has directed. Just minus the 30-odd minutes of action where Tiger lands in a jungle from nowhere to fight Manoj Bajpayee. It seems the director was under some pressure to fit in the 30 minutes of action thrills to match up to the Baaghi action, else this movie could have gone to become Ghayal 2 and joined the 100-crore club.
Baaghi 2 makes for a good film to watch with the family. Also, people who are die-hard action fans or are in love with Tiger-Disha, definitely can’t miss this film!
