Padaiveeran Movie Review: Padaiveeran, singer Vijay Yesudas’s debut film as hero. Expected to hit the screens on February 2, the team has finished the film on Tuesday. Vijay plays a wastrel character in the movie who turns into a cop. Director Dhana A. Sekaran, who is also an acclaimed actor, is playing a pivotal role in the film.

Storyline: Padaiveeran is the story of a local village youngster who upon wasting the most time of his youth decides to do something with his life. He decides to become a Police Man. After a lot of efforts, he becomes one only to realize that he has been posted in his own hometown as part of a local crisis management team following a breakout of violence caused by local issues in his town.

The hero is torn between looking out for his people and doing what feels morally perfect to him. How the issue changes the hero and who becomes victorious in the end forms the climax of the film Padaiveeran.

Padaiveeran Movie Review: The character that Vijay Yesudas has shown with the film is good. The story selection along with the script is well written and directed. The background music of the movie is also okay. Vijay Yesudas is seen in mass look which is apt for the village background. The police characterization was shown well with a little local attitude.
