In the film, we can see Allu Arjun in two completely different looks – a soft Brahmin youth and a stylish look  Pooja Hegde as the lead role and Rao Ramesh as Royal Naidu. But what is the cause that he would be fighting for?. The film said to be a very unique which revolves around a real estate angle. Apparently, Allu Arjun will be fighting against a “Land Scam’ on behalf of these people who are seeking justice.

Review: There is nothing novel in the story, however the director has handled it in his own unique style. He has successfully added elements that are bound to excite the audiences. The first half is full of comedy that is bound to leave the audiences in splits. It also contains the love story between the hero and the heroine. The songs are all appropriate to the scene. There are enough twists and turns in the story to keep the thrill right through. The pre-interval twist in the tale is really mind blowing and the audiences can’t wait for the second half to begin.

The second half is as gripping and interesting as the first. The measures that the hero takes to counter the villain will keep the audiences thrilled. The second half also has a lot of side-splitting comedy. The action sequences here are bound to keep the mass audiences excited. The climax scene is the highlight of the film. In totality “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham” is bound to sweep the audiences off their feet.

Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ Movie Rating: 3.5/5

Plus Points:

  • Music by DSP
  • Lead actors performance
  • Direction by Harish Shankar.

Minus Points:

  • Ordinary revenge story
  • No twists and turns

Verdict : Allu Arjun has impressed the audience with his dance and punch dialogues. In his Brahmin avatar, the actor has managed to entertain the audience a lot, however, it falls short when compared to Jr NTR in the similar role. Pooja Hedge and Rao Ramesh’s performance is quite different from other movies and it will showcase them in a better image after Duvvada Jagannadham.
