Gang 2017 Movie Review: Saravanan Sivakumar, famously known as Suriya has a very good fan following in Telugu audience fans. After superstar Rajinikanth, Suriya is one of the Tamil heroes who gained star image in both the states Ap and Telangana. He takes care in this dubbing movie in TFI. Suriya’s movies got a good market in Tollywood, his openings will be same as of star heroes movies and some went Housefull collections in the past. This time he comes with his new movie “Gang”. Gang is an official remake of Bollywood hit “Special 26” starring Akshay Kumar in lead role. Gang is releasing worldwide on January 12th, 2017 as Sankrantri Festival Special.

UV Creations is going to release the movie with the title Gang. Makers raised the expectations by releasing trailer by conducting pre-release event held in Hyderabad city. First time in his history Suriya dubbed himself for his role. In this flick Keerthy Suresh, Sathyan, Ramya Krishna Nandha, Sudhakar and many other acted important roles.Direction and screenplay is done by Vignesh Shivan and production is carried by K. E Gnanavel Raja.The music which went really crazy with the fans is tuned by young music director Anirudh Ravichander.

Gang  Story Plot & Review :

Gang is an official remake of the  Bollywood film ‘Special 26’, which features Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, and Manoj Bajpayee. This story is inspired by a real-life incident that took place in 1987 when a group posing as CBI raided a jewelry showroom in Mumbai and stole around 35 lakhs.

Story Plot: This is a story in which a gang of CBI officers who conduct raids on corrupt politicians and businessmen corrupted and having black money. In their last assignment, there are only 26 young and dynamic graduates is the crux of the story. Director Vignesh clarified that the story is inspired by Hindi film Special 26 (2013) released movie. The film also marks first Tamil film for senior actor Ramya Krishnan after the blockbuster ‘Baahubali’.

Verdict: The film’s unit of Gang has worked on the changes and came out with an entertaining script for the South audiences. The original script is very serious and the makers were very much aware that it needs some entertainment quotient. The production values of the movie are grand and on a whole, the film is okay and impresses in parts.
