Story Plot: Nene Raju Nene Mantri Movie story is based on the life of a politician named Jogendra. The movie shows his rise and fall as a politician. He is a money lender who aspires to become a politician and aims to become Chief Minister his wife named Radha (Kajal Aggarwal) is kind of his moral balance and his stabilizing factor Jogendra does everything for her. A simple man from a simple world moves into the crazy dark side of life. The life of power and crime and that’s where Devika Rani (Catherine) is established in the film.It is phenomenal how Telugu speaking audience can see the same film 1000 times over and still claps and whistles on everything they have seen. The eternal love they have for their stars pushes the star to not make a change in his character at all.
Review: It will be the best platform for Rana Daggubati to prove himself as a leading hero of the Telugu Industry. This leads to an interesting debate that why youth residing in the southern part of India is so angry that they connect with violence so easily. 24/365 audience is ready to idolize mediocrity in the form of stardom. Makers of the film had absolutely nothing on the sets but the contract of Rana Daggubati who is finally getting to play main lead instead of supporting role or an antagonist. This is as formula film as it gets in Telugu cinema. Just loud acting, provocative dialogues, and unnecessary action sequences. Rana Daggubati’s physique has been shot from at least 128 dimensions in Telugu films before this and makers of this one have managed to figure out the 129th way.
The producer spent around 6crores on the production and other 2crores on marketing and 9 cores as remunerations. So, the total budget of the film is 17crores. Radha – Her life revolves around Jogendra but at the same time, it is not claustrophobic sort of love. She is a homemaker out of choice. She is sensible, civil, calm and pretty much not like me.
Nene Raju Nene Mantri Movie Rating: 4/5
Nene Raju Nene Mantri Movie Verdict: A worthy watch who has an interest in politics. The sentiment which is a little too dragging towards the end of second half will test your patience. The movie is overall a good watch with a sad ending.
