Agnathavasi 3rd / Third-day Collections: Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi got released worldwide on 10th Jan 2018 at a maximum number of screens. Agnyaathavaasi has collected Rs 33+ crore gross at the AP/T box office on the first day and beaten the record of Khaidi No 150 to become the 2nd biggest opener after Baahubali 2.The movie has now become the second biggest opening Tollywood movie of all-time after Baahubali 2, which grossed Rs 57.40 crore in the Telugu states.

The film has been directed by Trivikram Srinivas who convinced the actor to come on board with his 2-minute narration. Music has been given by composer Anirudh Ravichander and the film marks his debut in the Telugu film industry. He has delivered an enriching music album, which has already become a hit with the fans. according to reports. Before the release of Agnyaathavaasi, Baahubali 2 held the record of raking in 1.3 million US dollars (approx) which is equivalent to Rs 8.2 Cr. But now, with Pawan Kalyan’s film releasing on the silver screen, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus has lost its position. Agnyaathavaasi has dethroned the Prabhas starrer film by minting in 14,64,467 US dollars which is equivalent to Rs 9 crore in the Indian currency. The film has received mixed reviews and is being panned by the critics.

The negative response from the audiences, Films collections getting a dip at the box office. The film is estimated to have collected over Rs 5.50 crore at the AP/T box office on Thursday, aka Day 2. Andhra Box Office tweeted, “#Agnyaathavaasi send shivers across the Trade. A Disastrous 2nd Day. All hopes on the Festival Days now.”
